Linda is a retired Environmental Health Officer, who led the Regulatory Services team on behalf of Bolton Council. She was appointed as a trustee in July 2018.

Linda is a proud Boltonian who has experience of supporting her younger brother with his battle with cancer. Sadly, he passed away in the care of Weston Hospice, Weston Super Mare. Her experience of the loving care and compassion that Weston Hospice provided both at home and within the hospice made her feel that she wanted to give something back to the hospice community. Where better than her local hospice here in Bolton to volunteer her services.

She has over forty years’ experience as a professional environmental health officer covering food safety, health and safety, trading standards, pollution control and licensing. Linda brings this knowledge and expertise to support all aspects of the hospices work.

Linda currently sits on the Building and Health and Safety committees.
