This Christmas, we invite you to dedicate a light to honour your loved ones memory. Your loved one’s light symbolizes the enduring light of their memory in our hearts.

The Light up a Life appeal is an opportunity to remember and celebrate the lives of those who are no longer with us. You can dedicate a light in memory of your loved ones and, if you’re able to, please donate to the appeal to help us care for our patients over the festive season.

As you’ll be aware, the hospice sector faces unprecedented financial challenges. We are working hard to get a fairer financial contribution from the government but with demand for our specialist services continuing to grow and costs continuing to rise, we face an ongoing struggle to sustain our vital care and support.

When you dedicate a light to your loved one, you’ll also be helping local families create lasting memories this festive season, and beyond.

Our hospice team works incredibly hard to ensure every patient’s individual needs are met, so families can focus on making precious memories with their loved ones during the festive season. Whether it’s a family tradition of charades after Christmas dinner, a Boxing Day buffet, or toasting the New Year with a favourite tipple – your donations will help to ensure that no one spends Christmas alone or without the care they need.
