Fire walk for Bolton Hospice
Will you take on this fiery feat for Bolton Hospice?
As part of our brand-new Fire & Ice challenge, we're giving you the opportunity to take on an epic fiery feat, walking across a path of wood embers burning at 1236 degrees Fahrenheit.
Before taking on the firewalk, you'll receive a full briefing and training session from firewalking experts, Blaze. They'll explain how firewalking is physically possible, answer any questions, then take you through exercises to prepare you for the firewalk.
Tickets cost £25 for the firewalk (or £45 for the full Fire & Ice challenge) and include a training session from a firewalking expert, firewalk certificate and a hot drink and snack after you've braved the flames.
This event will take place at 4pm-7pm at Leigh & Lowton Sailing club, Green Ln, Lowton, WA3 1BQ.
For more information about what to expect, and FAQs, check out this helpful info pack.
When you brave the flames, you'll not only be taking on an exhilarating personal challenge, you'll be helping to raise vital funds to help us keep caring for local people facing terminal and life-limiting illnesses.
Every fiery step taken and every pound raised in sponsorship will help even more families create lasting memories.

Important notes:
All participants must refrain from drinking alcohol prior to the event. This is of paramount importance to the safety of the event. Blaze reserve the right to refuse any participant we feel are unfit to take part safely. If Blaze refuses a participant who is deemed unfit to walk due to being under the influence of drugs, alcohol or for any reason that might affect other participants.
There’s no legal minimum age to take part in firewalking in the UK but we have set it at 14 years of age. At that age we feel that they can make an independent
decision to firewalk and are able to understand and follow the directions and exercises in the pre firewalk training. If you are to take part in both Events (Firewalk and cold water dip).
