Cold water dip for Bolton Hospice

Are you brave enough to face a cold water dip for Bolton Hospice?

We're excited to bring you this 'cool' event as part of our Fire & Ice challenge, which will see the most fearless hospice supporters take the plunge into an ice-cold lake... in March!

Cold water dipTake on this bucket list ice water experience all while raising money for your local hospice.

Cold water dips help build mental resilience, raise your mood, boost your energy, bulletproof your immune system and lower your stress levels.

As part of this event you will receive a coaching session from cold water expert Ryan Abbott, from Urban Ice Tribe, prior to entering the water. This session will include breathing and meditation techniques to allow you to understand the best way to enter the water. Ryan will also brief you on the risks involved and the best practices for cold water activities and warming up after the dip.

Tickets cost £25 for the cold water dip (or £45 for the full Fire & Ice challenge) and include a breathing and coaching session from a cold water expert, cold water dip certificate and a hot drink and snack after the dip.

This event will take place 2pm-4pm at Leigh & Lowton Sailing club, Green Ln, Lowton, WA3 1BQ.

When you take the plunge, you'll not only be taking on an exhilarating personal challenge, you'll be helping to raise vital funds to help us keep caring for local people facing terminal and life-limiting illnesses.

Every icy splash and every pound raised in sponsorship will help even more families create lasting memories.
