By becoming a major donor and giving a gift of £5,000 or more, you will be helping local families when they need it most. Your gift will enable local families to access vital care and support, making precious memories somewhere they feel safe and comfortable. Whether that's at Bolton Hospice or in the comfort of their own home, your gift will help us offer specialist care and support depending on what is important to each individual so they can have the best possible experience at the end of their life.  

What can I expect as a major donor?

If you are considering making a major gift to Bolton Hospice, we will work with you to discover what is important to you, how you would like to support the hospice and answer any questions you may have before you make your donation.

• We will share with you our organisational needs and visions for the future and discuss your interests and passions to ensure your donation helps where it is needed most. Your support might help fund the vital daily running costs of the hospice or perhaps you would like to cover the salary of a specialist care provider or fund a specific, transformative project.
• At Bolton Hospice, we pride ourselves on building- long-term, meaningful relationships with our supporters. We understand that some people like to give anonymously, and others like to meet the team and be more involved which we would be happy to arrange.
• We will get to know you and your wishes, provide you with updates as and when you would like them and you will always be welcome to visit the hospice to see first-hand the difference your gift is making to our patients and their families.
