We are thrilled to announce that we have been shortlisted for The UK’s Favourite Charity Shop Awards. As one of only six shortlisted charity shops in the North West, this recognition is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the hospice's staff and volunteers.

The charity shop awards celebrate the invaluable contributions made by charity shops across the UK. Our nomination is a direct result of the positive feedback and support we have received from the local community.

To help our charity shop’s clench the title, the public are encouraged to cast their votes online. Voting will determine the regional winners and ultimately the overall champion.

Kate Butterworth, Retail Operations Manager at Bolton Hospice, said, “It’s a huge honour to have been nominated as part of the Charity Retail Association’s UK’s Favourite Charity Shop Awards! We’re incredibly proud of all our shops, but for even just one to have been shortlisted is a huge achievement for us.”

We are proud to announce the shortlisted charity shop is Astley Bridge. Here we sell a range of pre-loved items, from women’s- and menswear to bric-a-brac, toys and games, and books.

The Astley Bridge site is also home to the our popular Old Bank Café, which serves a range of tasty breakfasts, lunches and sweet treats between 10am-2pm, Monday to Saturday.
