How Mandir Made a Big Impact For Bolton Hospice
Members of Shree Swaminarayan Mandir in Bolton have shown their incredible generosity by raising a staggering £13,343.42 for Bolton Hospice.
Throughout the year, the Mandir community has worked tirelessly to fundraise through various initiatives. Local business owners have placed loose change tins in their shops, members have participated in the Great Manchester Run, and the temple has hosted fundraising events.
The generous donation was presented to Bolton Hospice as part of the Mandir’s Diwali celebrations earlier this month.
Dipesh Raghwani, a representative of the Mandir, said, “Fundraising included our local business owners hosting a charity tin in their organisations, and taking part in the Great Manchester Run amongst other activities. We’d like to thank our community for supporting such a noble cause. We have seen the work that Bolton Hospice do and are honoured to support the organisation. As the community Shree Swaminarayan Mandir Bolton, we are proud to present Bolton Hospice with the amount of £13,343.42.”
“We are incredibly grateful to the members of Shree Swaminarayan Mandir for their unwavering support,” said Kathryn Willet, Fundraiser at Bolton Hospice. “This generous donation will make a significant impact on the lives of our patients and their families.”
The funds raised by the Mandir will help to ensure that the hospice can continue to offer its vital services to local people with terminal and life-limiting illnesses, and their families.
