Fundraising events

We have multiple fundraising events during Christmas time, from walking and running, to dressing up! Your support will help provide a memorable Christmas for our patients and their families this December.

Winter walkabout 

challenge yourself to walk 24 miles in 24 days! This is a brand-new digital fundraiser. We are asking you to wrap up warm this December and run, jog or walk 24 miles in 24 days for Bolton Hospice. Every mile you cover and every pound you raise will help give our patients a special Christmas making memories with their loved ones! When you sign up we'll send you an exclusive tracker, plus you'll have the chance to win 24 exciting prizes throughout the challenge! 'Tis the season for giving after all!

Jingle Bell Jog 

Take on a 2k festive family fun run! Join us on the 8th of December to help raise vital funds for Bolton Hospice. There will be a jolly atmosphere with festive music, a prize for best dressed, post-race festivities with games and a treat from Santa himself, a mince pie and a gold medal plus all children will receive a jingle bell keyring and a treat from Santa!

Jolly Jumper Day 

Dig out your festive knit and join us for our Jolly Jumper Day! On the 18th December (or a day that best suits you) why not ask your staff, school or workplace to help raise vital funds this December by wearing their jolliest Christmas jumpers!

Light Up A Life

This Christmas, we invite you to dedicate a light to honour your loved ones memory. Your loved ones light symbolizes the enduring light of their memory in our hearts. When you dedicate your light, you’ll also be helping local families create lasting memories this festive season, and beyond.

There are also lots of community events taking place in aid of Bolton Hospice. Host, donate or take part in lots of different activities to help support us this December!

For those who love to shop, why not have a look at the wide range of items we have for sale at 1 of our 10 charity shops, eBay, or our Christmas cards and calendars! We have a wide range of cards and calendars available online and in our shops, they make for the perfect gift. We also have lots of items available in our shops where all funds go towards providing the care and support we provide to the local community. You can also donate your preloved items to our shops to help raise vital funds.

That’s right, by entering our Christmas draw and supporting Bolton Hospice you will get the chance to win a trip to Lapland plus the opportunity to win lots of other amazing prizes.
