Volunteer with Bolton Hospice!
Still thinking of a new year’s resolution? What can you do different this year? Look no further then volunteering for Bolton Hospice!
Volunteers are at the heart of everything we do at the hospice and help us to continue to support local families facing life-limiting illnesses.
There are multiple opportunities to volunteer with Bolton Hospice and there is a role for everyone. Learn new skills, meet new people and help to make a difference. Bolton Hospice simply wouldn’t exist without people who generously give up their time to support us.
“I love volunteering here. I’m passionate about helping others - it’s in my nature - and if I can make a difference to just one person then I’m happy with that. My favourite part about volunteering is just knowing I’m there for people, knowing someone cares, and listening to them share their life stories about their loved ones”. Joanne hospice volunteer.
We urgently need to fill these roles, can you help?

Or maybe want to help out in one of our shops, each one of our charity shops are different with lots of volunteer roles available. Whether you have a flair for fashion and fancy yourself on the shop floor or can see yourself helping behind the scenes as a volunteer van driver, PAT tester or eBay administrator, we can't wait to welcome you to our shops team. “I’d 100% recommend volunteering with Bolton Hospice to anyone, but especially to other young people, as it’s so varied what you can do here, and it really does help you as much as you’re helping them” said Sam a shop volunteer.
Our volunteers regularly tell us how much they enjoy their roles and knowing they’re making a positive difference to their local charity. Volunteering is a great way to get involved with Bolton Hospice and learn new skills. Is this is the year you volunteer?
