Mandir Steps Up: Raising Vital Funds for Bolton Hospice at BWITC Event

We are very thankful to Shree Swaminarayan Mandir Bolton and the Bolton Wanderers Remembrance Group.

Shree Swaminarayan Mandir Bolton members are taking part in the Bolton Wanderers in the Community 2 & 10k and helping to raise vital funds, thanks to the Bolton Wanderers Remembrance Group kindly gifting charity places to us for the event.

By taking on the challenge, the Shree Swaminarayan Mandir Bolton, a longstanding and dedicated supporter, are further solidifying their commitment to raising vital funds and awareness for us.

“Our community believes in the importance of sewa and the principle of "society before self.” Said Hari Mistry, volunteer at the Mandir. “Partnering with BWITC and in support of Bolton Hospice is a privilege. The hospice provides compassionate care to those in need, and as a community, we are honoured to contribute towards their invaluable work. This event is not just about raising funds but also about local organisations coming and working together as one to celebrate our shared values and the impact we can make when we walk forward together."

This initiative aligns with the Mandir’s upcoming 25th anniversary celebrations in 2025, marking a quarter of a century of service to the Bolton community. Their participation will help us to continue providing expert care and support to local people with life-limiting illnesses, and their families.
