Band 5 Staff Nurse & Bank Nurse
Here at the Hospice we looking to recruit an enthusiastic and highly motivated Registered Nurse along with some dedicated Band 5 Bank Nurses to join our team within the Inpatient Unit at Bolton Hospice. This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for anyone wishing to further develop their nursing skills and knowledge within specialist palliative care. £27,055 - £29,180 per annum pro rata
£13.83 per hour for bank staff
(Entry-Mid level Band 5, dependent upon experience, unsocial hours enhancements paid in addition)
Part Time 30 hours per week
The permanent role covers a 24 hour, 7 day service and will therefore include weekends and rotation to night duty. Long day shifts and night shifts would be expected.
The Role
Working as part of the wider multi-disciplinary team, you will support patients with complex clinical needs and provide hands-on, person-centred care. All our staff strive to provide the highest quality of service for our patients and their families and carers, through a collaborative team approach.
What you need:
To apply for the Band 5 Staff Nurse & Bank Nurse(Band 5), you must be a Registered General Nurse, who is enthusiastic and flexible with a passion for specialist palliative and end of life care. A recognised post-registration palliative care qualification is desirable, although you will be fully supported in the role if you have limited or no experience with the specialty. You will have access to a range of training and development opportunities and be welcomed as a valued member of an experienced and supportive team.
