Your birthday is a great opportunity to fundraise for us and help us to keep caring for local people and their families when they need us most. 

Why not ask your friends and family to donate what they would have spent on a present, or the cost of a birthday drink, to a birthday fundraiser for Bolton Hospice! There are lots of ways to do this, but the easiest way is to create a birthday fundraiser on Facebook, and share throughout your birthday month.

How to set up a Birthday Facebook Fundraiser

1. Search 'Fundraiser' in Facebook and click 'Create Fundraiser'
2. Search for Bolton Hospice and select this as your chosen charity
3. Name your fundraiser '[Your name]'s birthday fundraiser for Bolton Hospice'
4. If you want to, edit your fundraiser's description to explain to your friend's and family why you've decided to raise funds for Bolton Hospice for your birthday
5. Choose how much you'd like to raise - you can edit this if you hit your target early to help to boost donations even more
6. Give your fundraiser an end date. This could be on your birthday or afterwards, just make sure you give yourself enough time to reach your target!
7. Click 'Create'. Your fundraiser will automatically be shared to your feed for your friends and family to see
8. Share, share, share! Keep sharing your birthday fundraiser until your reach your goal!
