£50 Challenge - the results
Over three months from April to June, a number of local businesses, organisations and individuals took part in our £50 Challenge, growing a £50 stake through innovative means to help raise much-needed funds for Bolton Hospice.
Local companies and individuals who took part included Slimming World, Carrs Pasties, Stateside Foods, Crystal Cremations, Marlborough Fund Group, Northern Monkey, Segen, Harrisons Estate Agents, T4 Physio, Mark Settle & Val Hulme.
The teams took on a range of fundraising activities including sponsored litter picks, raffles, charity pool tournament & pasty eating competition, bake off competition, afternoon tea parties, donating 10% of all profits for a day and much more!
The totals are now in, and we are incredibly pleased to announce that our £50 Challengers have raised a brilliant £12403 for Bolton Hospice!
The teams were invited to our £50 Awards Evening, kindly hosted by Northern Monkey, to find out who had managed to raise the most money from their initial stake. As well as the overall winners, there were prizes up for grabs for the craftiest fundraiser, sportiest fundraiser, and the most creative fundraising idea.
