"I've been a member of the hospice team for over 15 years and have been part of both the nursing and the medical team.

"I work across hospice services, both within the Inpatient Unit and the Wellbeing Hub, providing symptom management, advice and overall support for people with life-limiting illness and their families.

"Meeting people with varying needs and families is a massive part of my role and being able to support them, with a listening, reassuring ear, is an honour. My current role is varied and allows me to be involved in the delivery of care to those patients needing hospice services.

"It is a true privilege to be part of the hospice, meeting people at their most vulnerable and being able to make a difference. Without the support of the fantastic hospice team this would not be possible. Every day is different and presents new challenges, but it really is an honour to be part of such an amazing team."
