UK Health Care Cash Plan
Bolton Hospice offers all employees enrolment into the UK Health Care Cash Plan after 3 months service. The hospice pays for you to be a member at Level 1 and employees have the option to upgrade for a small monthly fee. This allows you to claim for treatments including dental care, physiotherapy etc.

Menopause Policy
Bolton Hospice is committed to providing a positive and open working environment to all its employees. As such it recognises that the menopause can affect members of its staff. This policy therefore aims to support them through this with dignity and respect as well as minimise the risk of any disruption to the workforce that may arise with regard to menopause-related absences.
The aim of the policy is to provide staff affected with the support that they need whilst giving managers the tools to be able to provide this support.

Occupational Health
Occupational health have a role in supported staff in the workplace and any adaptations that may need to be made.
A referral will be made by your line manager.
Access to flu/covid vaccines
The hospice facilitates access to free annual flu vaccinations.
Information on accessing is made available to staff each year when they are available.
NHS Live Well
NHS advice about healthy living, including eating a balanced diet, healthy weight, exercise, quitting smoking and drinking less alcohol, can be accessed here.
Parkrun
Parkrun is a free, community event where you can walk, jog, run, volunteer or spectate. Parkrun is 5k and takes place every Saturday morning. Parkrun is positive, welcoming and inclusive, there is no time limit and no one finishes last. Everyone is welcome to come along.
