Cavell
Cavell helps registered nurses, midwives, nursing associates and maternity support workers, both working and retired, when they’re going through tough times. This is often due to illness, disability, older age, domestic abuse and the impact of the rise in living costs.
We’re a charity helping people at no cost to them. There’s no membership, we’re not a union or insurance scheme. If you don’t know where to turn, you may be able to receive financial help from Cavell.
The charity offers an effective, tailored package of support to help everyone who gets in touch. We give emotional support for those in crisis, advice on maximising benefits, signposting and referrals to specialist services, one-off grants to quickly relieve financial hardship and rapid emergency funding for those at great risk.
