Creating lasting memories this Christmas!
The festive season here at Bolton Hospice was filled with precious moments and lasting memories thanks to the incredible generosity of the local community.
From donating to the Light Up a Life appeal and participating in the Reindeer Run, to showering us with gifts from its Amazon Wishlist and volunteering their time in its shops and at the hospice, residents have shown unwavering support for those facing life-limiting illnesses.
"We are incredibly grateful to everyone who has supported Bolton Hospice this Christmas," said Adrian Vickers, Head of Income Generation at Bolton Hospice. "Your generosity has made a profound difference to the lives of our patients and their families, allowing them to celebrate the festive season with cherished moments together."
Christmas Day at Bolton Hospice was another day filled with compassionate care and support. Patients were able to create lasting memories with their loved ones. What made the 25th December different than most though, was Christmas dinner.
As families across Bolton tucked into a delicious festive meal, that's exactly what families at Bolton Hospice were enjoying too.
Our dedicated catering team, nurses and wonderful volunteers served up countless plates of turkey with all the trimmings, as well as enjoying other festivities with patients and their families.
These precious moments would not have been possible without the unwavering support of the community.
"Seeing our patients and their families create lasting memories together on Christmas Day is truly heartwarming," continued Adrin Vickers. "We are incredibly grateful to everyone who has made this possible."
Bolton Hospice extends its sincerest thanks to the community for their generosity and wishes everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
