I first started volunteering at the hospice attending the Fundraising Committee in 2006. I was elected to Board in December 2010 and currently serve as Chairman of the Building Committee, sit on the Finance Committee and also act as the Dementia Champion for the Board.

I currently co-own and co-manage a Care Home for the Elderly in Bolton which specialises in Dementia Care and have also been a Councillor on Bolton Council since 2004 representing the Heaton & Lostock Ward. I currently hold a Cabinet position on the council as the Executive Cabinet Member responsible for Adult Services.

I am an experienced Managing Director with a demonstrated history of working in social care, local government and the voluntary sector and brings a wealth of experience to the board championing dementia and patient care.
