Band 5 Staff Nurse - Wellbeing Hub
We are currently seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and highly motivated Registered Nurse to work in our Wellbeing Hub. This will be an exciting, challenging and rewarding opportunity for anyone wishing to further develop their nursing skills and knowledge within specialist palliative care.
£24,907 - £30,615 per annum pro rata
(dependent upon experience, plus unsocial hours enhancements)
Part Time 30 hours per week
The Role
The Wellbeing Hub will provide a flexible patient-centred approach for people living in Bolton with life-limiting illnesses, with services tailored to meet individual needs. The Wellbeing Hub will have Medical and Nursing Outpatient Clinics, Wellbeing activities, rehabilitation, symptom management, complimentary therapy and emotional support. People can be supported to choose lifestyle activities that will support them to gain new interests and develop supportive friendships, in order to lead as full and independent life as possible. Working as part of the wider multi-disciplinary team, you will support patients with complex clinical needs and provide person-centred care. Our staff strive to provide the highest quality of service for our patients and their families and carers, through an individualized and inclusive team approach.
What you need:
To apply, you must be enthusiastic, flexible and have a passion for specialist palliative and end of life care. We are looking for someone with experience working with people who require palliative care, although you will be fully supported in the role if you have limited experience within the specialty. You will have access to a range of training and development opportunities and be welcomed as a valued member of an experienced and supportive team. Whilst this role is for the Wellbeing Hub, in exceptional circumstances rotation to another hospice service may be required and those services can be operating a 24 hour/7 day a week service. Therefore, it is essential that the post holder has a full driving licence and access to their own vehicle, which must be insured for business use.
