Bank Fundraising Administrator
To supplement our permanent team we have a team of ‘bank staff’ who provide cover for planned and unplanned staff absences and assist during particularly busy times for the department.

The Income Generation and Communications team currently needs to raise £4 million a year to support the work of Bolton Hospice. We care for patients throughout their illness, helping to improve their wellbeing and quality of life. We also provide compassionate, dedicated and dignified care for patients at the end of their life.
£9.21 per hour

The Role
We are now seeking to recruit an efficient and enthusiastic bank Fundraising Administrator to provide support as and when required within the fundraising team. When on duty, the successful candidate will undertake important administration work related to many of our well-known fundraising activities and events, ensuring that our supporters receive a high-quality experience. Tasks will include entering new event registrations on to the supporter database, compiling and mailing out fundraising packs, inputting sponsorship money and donations onto the supporter database and thanking our amazing supporters in a number of different ways. You’ll also assist the fundraising team in planning events, supervise the work of volunteers and respond to enquiries that come into the department.
What you need:
The successful candidate will be highly organised and must have excellent customer service skills and a strong attention to detail. You should have previous experience of working in administration, ideally incorporating data entry work. Your values will need to be aligned with those of the hospice and you’ll need to demonstrate that you are a team player with good communication skills. Being a member of our bank staff team, you’ll need to have an ability to work flexibly and sometimes at short notice.
