£50 Enterprise Challenge
3 months, £50...
What entrepreneurial idea will you come up with to make more money, and how much will you raise?!
Maybe you'll hire a hall and host a jumble sale, or invite special guests to an afternoon tea? How about organising a raffle or tombola, or getting crafty and selling your creations?
The sky's the limit, so whatever you decide to do to grow your £50 - GOOD LUCK!
Challenge rules:
- The challenge will start from Monday 26th September and end on Friday 23rd December.
- You will receive your £50 stake w/c 19th September.
- Fundraising can be achieved through multiple events or just one on one day.
- Anything goes as long as it is safe and legal!
When you take part in our £50 enterprise challenge, your support will help us to keep caring for patients with life-limiting illnesses, and be there for families at every difficult step of their journey.

Kath's hospice story
Kath was admitted to Bolton Hospice in March 2020. Matthew, Kath's son, now tells her story in memory of his mum:
"During mum's near 35-year battle with cancer, she had fought and beat it 4 times. Unfortunately, on this last occasion, an unfair combination of breast, lung, brain and spinal cancer was just one step to far.
Roy's hospice story
Your support helps patients like Roy who filmed this video the night before he returned home after a stay in the inpatient unit. He sent it to us to share on social media, in the hope that, he can help raise awareness about hospice services in Bolton.
Roy's message is a poignant reminder about how important accessing specialist hospice care is for people living with a life-limiting illness.
Rosie's hospice story
Rosie Adamson-Clark has experienced the care we provide here at Bolton Hospice, through both our Inpatient Unit and Wellbeing Hub. She is also a proud hospice supporter, raising funds to help even more people and families in our community when they need us most.
