I have lived in Bolton for over 20 years and worked locally as a Partner at Cowgills Chartered Accountants for over 30 years. For many of those years I acted as Managing Partner. I also have various other business interests in which I am involved as both investor and non-executive Chairman.

I was approached to join the Hospice Board as Trustee and Treasurer in early 2024 and I welcomed the opportunity to offer my commercial skills and experience to one of Bolton`s finest charities.

Having experienced the work of the hospice from a family perspective with the death of my father- in-law, it gave me the determination to get involved and hopefully be able to help further the great work that the hospice does for our community.
