Band 5 Staff Nurse

We are currently seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and highly motivated Registered Nurse to work within the Inpatient Unit at Bolton Hospice. This will be a challenging and rewarding opportunity for anyone wishing to further develop their nursing skills and knowledge within specialist palliative care.

£25,655 - £27,780 per annum pro rata

(Entry-Mid level Band 5, dependent upon experience, unsocial hours enhancements paid in addition)

Part Time 34.5 hours per week

The role covers a 24/7 service and will therefore include weekends and rotation to night duty.

Long day shifts and night shifts would be expected (34.5 hours is 3 shifts per week) Full time (37.5 hours per week) and/or permanent nights would also be considered

The Role

Working as part of the wider multi-disciplinary team, you will support patients with complex clinical needs and provide hands-on, person-centred care.  Our staff strive to provide the highest quality of service for our patients and their families and carers, through a collaborative team approach.

What you need:

To apply, you must be a Registered General Nurse, who is enthusiastic and flexible with a passion for specialist palliative and end of life care.  A recognised post-registration palliative care qualification is desirable, although you will be fully supported in the role if you have limited or no experience with the specialty. You will have access to a range of training and development opportunities and be welcomed as a valued member of an experienced and supportive team.
