12 month Fixed Term contract

Bolton Hospice has an exciting opportunity for a confident, innovative and enthusiastic candidate to cover a period of maternity leave within our Income Generation and Communications team as Fundraising Data & Direct Marketing Co-ordinator. The team need to raise over £4 million a year to fund specialist care and support for local people facing terminal or life-limiting illnesses, and their families. As our services and reach increase, so does our income target, and the successful candidate will play a key role in the long term income growth of the hospice.

Part Time 22.5hrs per week

(worked over 3 or 4 days per week, remote or office-based)

£23,949 to £26,282 pro rata

(Actual £14,369 to £15,769 per annum)

The Role:

The Fundraising Data & Direct Marketing Co-ordinator will be a vital member of the Income Generation and Communication Team, supporting the whole team by providing data insight to help recruit new individual supporters and increase the engagement of existing supporters to maximise income and improve supporter retention. The successful candidate will also play a critical role in co-ordinating the delivery of Bolton Hospice’s direct marketing campaigns to promote hospice services and support fundraising activities.

What you need:

The successful candidate will already have demonstrable experience working in a similar marketing or data insight role and should demonstrate strong data analysis skills and direct marketing experience, and have a passion for data insight. You must be highly organised and have excellent communication and relationship building skills. You’ll need to be able to work well within a busy team in order to support the whole team to achieve targets. Experience of using technology creatively to maximise income opportunities and a good understanding of digital marketing channels would be an advantage.
