An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Registered Nurse to join our supportive, professional team within the Wellbeing Hub at Bolton Hospice. This will be a challenging and rewarding opportunity for anyone wishing to further develop their nursing skills and knowledge within specialist palliative care. Team Bolton Hospice is friendly, motivated and committed to providing high quality, expert specialist palliative and end of life care to the people of Bolton.

£28,407 - £30,639 per annum pro rata

Full- or part-time hours considered

(Dependent upon experience, unsocial hours enhancements paid in addition)

We are looking to appoint a Staff Nurse to provide assistance to the Wellbeing Hub Sister in the dayto-day running of the Wellbeing Hub whilst also advising and supporting staff in their roles.

The Wellbeing Hub Staff Nurse will effectively assist the Wellbeing Hub Sister supporting our team of staff and volunteers, ensuring good communication and teamwork. They will help support patients, families and carers living in the Bolton community with a life-limiting illness. The role involves working with the wider multidisciplinary teams within the hospice and community as well as other outreach teams to deliver palliative care services and groups which will ensure the physical, emotional and psychological needs of the patient, families and carers are met.

What you need:

To apply you must be a general registered nurse, who is enthusiastic and flexible with a passion for palliative and end of life care. A recognised post-registration care qualification is desirable, although you will be fully supported in your role if you have limited experience with the specialty. You will have access to a range of training and development opportunities and be welcomed as a valued member of an experienced and supportive team.
